AIIMS, Raipur Chhattisgarh

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur, is a government medical institute established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). It was developed to improve access to tertiary healthcare and strengthen medical education and training in underserved regions. The institute offers undergraduate MBBS education, postgraduate medical programmes, doctoral courses, nursing education and dental education. Its academic departments include Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Community and Family Medicine, and Trauma and Emergency Medicine. The associated hospital provides clinical services and practical training for students across medical specialties. AIIMS Raipur also supports clinical research, biomedical research and academic activities, with dedicated research-related departments and services. Its educational, healthcare and research functions are intended to support both specialist training and patient care.
