About S.C.B.Medical College, Cuttack
Srirama Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital is a government medical institution in Cuttack, Odisha. It began in 1944 as Orissa Medical College with an initial intake of 22 MBBS students and was renamed in 1951 in honour of Maharaja Srirama Chandra Bhanja Deo. It is one of Odisha's major public teaching hospitals and medical education centres. The college offers undergraduate MBBS, postgraduate medical courses, super-specialty training and paramedical programmes. Its attached hospital provides clinical services and practical training across a wide range of specialties. The institution also supports medical research, specialist treatment and the education of medical and allied healthcare professionals for Odisha and neighbouring regions.
