AIIMS, Mangalagiri Andhra Pradesh

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalagiri, is a government medical institute established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). As an AIIMS institution, it forms part of India's network of autonomous public medical institutes designated as Institutes of National Importance. AIIMS Mangalagiri began functioning in 2018 from a temporary campus at Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. Outpatient services began at its permanent Mangalagiri campus in March 2019, followed by inpatient services. The institute offers MBBS, nursing, allied and healthcare programmes, postgraduate MD/MS courses, super-specialty training and doctoral programmes. Its clinical departments and hospital services support practical medical education, patient care and biomedical research.
